One morning in June, my daughter and I decided to go to a strawberry farm. We picked up 8 lbs of strawberries. Enough strawberries to make a lot of recipes!
After baking a Mixed Berry Crisp, I decided to make some strawberry ice cream, my first homemade ice cream.
I needed 1 cup of strawberry coulis. This recipe makes 1 1/2 cups of coulis. Perfect for making my ice cream. Couldn’t wait to make it!
This homemade strawberry coulis made with fresh strawberries is also a great topping for pancakes, French crêpes or vanilla ice cream!! My husband loved it. This coulis is gorgeous!
