Beef and Broccoli in a Wok / Wok de Boeuf au Brocoli

8 CommentsBy zaza-cook

So simple and so fast!

This recipe comes from one of my cookbooks “Recipes less than 5 euros”. As his title indicates, I find only cheap recipes.

Gourmet recipes, easy and cheap, I love it!

I made this traditional Asian recipe last week. How amazing is this beef and broccoli stir-fry! It’s a perfect dinner meal.

My whole family loved it. I don’t have to spent too much time in my kitchen. It’s a perfect dinner meal.

Ingredients :

  • 400 g (0.88 lbs) beef
  • 250 g (0.55 lbs) broccoli
  • 250 g (0.55 lbs) carrots (organic)
  • 1 onion
  • 2 teaspoons olive oil
  • juice of one orange
  • 3-4 teaspoons of  soy sauce
  • 15 g (2 teaspoons) honey
  • salt and pepper

Directions :

  1. Cut the meat in strips. Peel the onion and slice it thinly.
  2. Heat the olive oil in a wok. Cook the meat for 1 minute, then remove it. Then brown the onion, stirring occasionally.
  3. Separate the broccoli florets into bite size pieces. Peel the carrots and cut into 3 inch sticks. Add the vegetables to the wok with a little water. Cover and cook for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  4. Mix the orange juice, the soy sauce and the honey.
  5. When the vegetables are cooked, but still crisp, add the sauce and put the meat back. Salt, pepper and serve immediately.

This dish can be served on its own or with rice.

Ingrédients :

  • 400 g bœuf
  • 250 g brocoli
  • 250 g carottes (bio)
  • 1 oignon
  • 2 cuillères à café d’huile d’olive
  • le jus d’une orange
  • 3-4 cuillères à café de sauce de soja
  • 15 g miel
  • sel et poivre

Directions :

  1. Détaillez la viande en lamelles. Pelez l’oignon et émincez-le finement.
