Roasted Asparagus with Parmesan / Asperges rôties au Parmesan

7 CommentsBy zaza-cook

I haven’t posted on my blog for 6 months following a technical issue due to the server providers. I can fully appreciate coming back and finally post again new recipes:)

While I was gone I got the great opportunity for getting training about Teaching French as a Second Language and getting new certifications. I am so happy to succeed!

Today I would like to share with you my new recipe of asparagus. I love green vegetables, and especially asparagus.

I used to cook the white asparagus in boiled water and eat them with vinegar and crème fraîche.

But for the last 3 months, I found a new recipe for green asparagus where I cook them in the oven with Parmesan cheese. Now my son loves them! Before he never ate asparagus!

Preparation time : 12 minutes       Cooking time : 15-18 minutes

Ingredients :

  • olive oil cooking spray
  • 2 pounds fresh asparagus, tough ends trimmed
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • salt

Directions :

  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C.)
  2. Place aspargus in a dish and lightly spray olive oil.
  3. Then place asparagus in baking sheets lined with parchment paper.
  4. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese and salt.
  5. Roasted in preheat oven until easily punctures thickest part of stem, about 15 or 18 minutes.

Temps de préparation : 10 minutes     Temps de cuisson : 15 à 18 minutes

Ingrédients :

  • 500 grammes d’asperges
  • huile d’olive en spray
  • 60 grammes Parmesan cheese
  • sel

Directions :

  1. Allumez le four à 400 degrés F. (200 degrés C.).

Hi Zaza, I totally know how it is to be down due to server issues…as I went through the same issue not long ago, and it seems that never ends…
I love the simplicity of this asparagus dish…and yet so elegant…thanks for the recipe. Have a wonderful weekend!

Asparagus is one of our favorite vegetables and simply prepared like this is delicious. By the way, I tried several times but could not see your photo…perhaps it is only my computer.
