Chocolate Pudding

This delightful pudding is really easy to make. I always have all the ingredients in my pantry, so I do not have to go shopping, yeah!!

No risk of lumps, it’s always a success!

Not too sweet, but still enough sugar, this dessert is perfect for grown-ups! My husband and I ate 2 cups each yesterday, so my kids missed this treat! I have to make it again very soon.

My honey loves this dessert! It reminds him of the chocolate pudding his mother made. He is not a big fan of chocolate, but this dessert always makes his mouth water, ahahah!

Chocolate Pudding.

Serves : 4  Preparation time : 5 minutes  Total time : 25 minutes

Ingredients :

  • 2/3 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup baking cocoa
  • 2 1/4 cups milk
  • 3 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Directions :

  1. In a medium saucepan combine sugar, cocoa, cornstarch and salt with a whisk.
  2. Add milk and continue to whisk. Heat to simmer over medium heat. Do not stop whisking.
  3. When the consistence begins to thicken and bubble, cook for more 2-3 minutes.
  4. Remove from heat.
  5. Pour into your favorite dessert glass and chill.

Laughing Spatula inspired me for this recipe.

This pudding reminds of my childhood. My mom always made puddings for the Sunday dinner desert.
